Sherry Harrison

Executive Vice President

Sherry Harrison is directly involved in all aspects of the strategic planning, establishment, marketing and operations of Advantage Behavioral Health. Her specific areas of focus include: network development, external communications and relations, contracting, and operational management. Harrison brings a wealth of experience to Advantage and its vision to transform the behavioral health system.

Harrison graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a B.S. in Liberal Arts and a M.S. in Social Work. Prior to joining Centerstone, Harrison had an extensive career in State Government. Harrison’s career spanned more than 30 years and included leadership positions in the Tennessee Department of Human Services, the TennCare Bureau, and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities.

Brad Nunn

Chief Clinical Officer

As chief clinical officer, Brad Nunn is accountable for the Advantage Clinical program’s internal operations and the clinical performance of the provider network. In addition to these duties, Nunn monitors and evaluates clinical and administrative performance, promotes the improvement of clinical care programs through measurement, planning, training and implementation activities. He also oversees Advantage’s needs regarding CARF, JCAHO, NCQA, HEDIS and other resources in the development of the organization’s quality plans, policies and procedures, guidelines and improvement processes.

Nunn graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., with a BA in Psychology, and an MA and a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Kathy Rogers

Director of Quality Improvement

Kathy Rogers oversees Consumer Affairs and Quality Improvement, ensuring that Advantage’s clients receive the best possible care. She prepares the company for clinical audits and coordinates the response to any finding from these audits. In addition, Rogers oversees training for client assessments and auditing of the assessment process. Prior to joining Advantage, Rogers worked as Program Manager for Quality Improvement for Centerstone.

Rogers graduated from Stonehill College in North Easton, Mass with a B.A. She received an M.S.S.W. from University of Tennessee College of Social Work.

Debbie Cagle

Chief Executive Officer

Debbie Cagle is the driving force behind Advantage Behavioral Health’s clinical, financial, and administrative performance. She provides executive leadership and strategic planning for Advantage. In her role, Cagle oversees business operations, managed care contract relationships and the advancement of strategic initiatives.

Cagle is well-known and respected in the behavioral health managed care industry, with over 15 years experience in the field. Prior to Advantage, Cagle served as chief operating officer of ValueOptions of Tennessee, where she was responsible for RFP development and coordinating relationships with key mental health stakeholders, including State of Tennessee officials, advocates, consumers, providers and other BHOs. Previously, Cagle serviced as vice president of AdvoCare of Tennessee, a subsidiary of Magellan Health Services, where she managed benefits, treatment services and care for 1.3 million Tennesseans, including over 125,000 with severe mental illness. In addition, she has directed behavioral health managed care services contracting for HCA, Inc. and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Cagle graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a B.S., dually certified in Special Education, Mental Retardation/Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education.

Sarah Hirsch

Director of Clinical Care Management

Hirsch leads Advantage’s clinical staff, works hand-in-hand with Advantage’s Medical Director and physician advisors and coordinates clinical care for all Advantage members. She also guides business development and performs all requested utilization reviews for the company. Prior to joining Advantage, Sara served as clinic manager for Centerstone’s clinics in three Tennessee counties. Her clinic management experience is an invaluable tool for furthering Advantage’s mission.

Hirsch graduated from Belmont University with an A.A. in hospitality. She received her B.S. in education and counseling from Biola University in LaMirada, Calif. She received her M.A. in marriage and family therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif., and M.B.A. in healthcare management from the University of Phoenix. Hirsch is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the National Board for Certified Counselors. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, specializing in health psychology, at the Fielding Institute of Santa Barbara, Calif.
